A Canopy for a King

For the 40th jubilee of King Baudouin’s reign and his 60th birthday, we were entrusted with an extraordinary royal commission.

Within the grand halls, we created a cathedral of nature: towering arches woven from branches, crowned with thousands of delicate glass spheres, each cradling a flower.

By day, the installation shimmered like a living forest; by night, it glowed like a constellation suspended above the King’s celebration.

It was a tribute not only to His Majesty’s reign, but to the timeless bond between nature, beauty, and devotion.

A fleeting masterpiece, yet etched forever into Belgium’s collective memory—a floral homage worthy of a King.
