The Paint Story

Created for BMW’s announcement of a new palette of personalised paint finishes, The Paint Story explored colour as an expression of individuality, craftsmanship and emotion.

Each distinctive finish was translated into a sculptural botanical composition, pairing painted automotive surfaces with flowers and foliage selected for their colour, texture and character. Deep orchids, velvety cosmos, silver-white edelweiss and graphic leaves intertwined with hand-shaped metal structures, echoing the precision and movement of automotive design.

Photographed under dramatic studio light, every composition revealed the depth, shimmer and changing nuances of the paint—transforming colour into a tactile dialogue between engineering and nature.
