Junior Florist

What do you do?

Begin your craft inside a house of refinement. As Junior Florist, you’ll learn the Daniel Ost way across events, weekly contracts, and boutique. Developing precise hands, a sharp eye, and the discipline that turns flowers into finished art.

    • Studio & conditioning — Receive and verify flowers, hydrate and condition correctly, label and stage; keep stations, tools, and cold room impeccable (FIFO rotation).

    • Make-up & production — Assist with hand-tied and vase work, wiring and simple mechanics; prepare packaging/gift wrap to brand standard; support photo notes and tidy hand-overs.

    • On-site support — Help with build and strike to brief and timeline; protect venues and finishes; manage water levels and transport readiness; assist deliveries as needed.

    • Retail & contracts — Refresh weekly contracts; support boutique presentation, replenishment, gift notes, and web/phone order prep.

    • Logistics & care — Help prepare packing lists; count items in/out; maintain tool kits and return inventory in order.

    • Experience — 0–2 years in floristry (or a strong personal portfolio); eager to learn and improve daily.

    • Eye & hands — Good sense of color, proportion, and finish; developing speed with clean technique.

    • Attitude — Punctual, reliable, discreet; receptive to feedback and supportive in a team.

    • Basics — Safe tool use, manual handling, step-ladder awareness; driver’s licence is a plus.

    • Languages — English required; Arabic a plus.

    • Base: Riyadh (studio/boutique) with venue work across the city (indoor/outdoor).

    • Hours: retail schedule plus project-driven peaks—early starts, late finishes, weekends when required.

    • Contract: full-time; right-to-work in KSA required (transferable Iqama preferred).

    • Physical: lifting/carrying, standing for extended periods, cold-room work; safe work at height under supervision.

    • Standards: uniform & grooming, confidentiality/NDAs, site inductions, and HSE compliance.

    • Progression: a clear path to Florist → Senior Florist → Design Lead/Contracts Specialist/Events, with training milestones (conditioning mastery, hand-tied and vase standards, installation basics, clienteling essentials).
