A Dialogue in Bloom

For the State Visit of the King and Queen of the Belgians to Japan, the Belgian Embassy in Tokyo was transformed through a series of sculptural botanical compositions.

Monumental arrangements brought together vivid peonies, airy clouds of foliage, architectural bamboo and abundant white blossoms. Each work explored the dialogue between Belgian expressiveness and Japanese restraint—balancing colour, texture and negative space with quiet precision. Conceived in harmony with the embassy’s contemporary architecture, the installations created an atmosphere of natural elegance worthy of this distinguished diplomatic occasion.
