A Village of Wonder

For the festive season, Nele Ost transformed Maasmechelen Village into an enchanting Christmas destination filled with warmth, colour and imagination.

Monumental fir trees illuminated the avenues, richly adorned with intricate ornaments, red accents, golden details and unexpected handcrafted treasures. Every element was composed in generous layers, inviting visitors to discover new details at every glance. Festive performances and moments of theatre brought the setting to life, extending the decoration into an immersive experience for all generations.

Both nostalgic and wonderfully expressive, the installation reimagined the magic of a traditional Christmas through Nele Ost’s distinctive eye for abundance, craftsmanship and botanical storytelling.
