In the Hands of the Earth

Created for Lavazza in Piazza XXV Aprile, Milan, this public art installation transformed the brand’s commitment to organic coffee into a monumental botanical sculpture.

Two immense hands, entirely enveloped in living green textures, rose from the square to cradle an oversized coffee bean. Cascading foliage traced the sculpture’s central form, evoking the coffee plant’s journey from fertile soil to harvest. Set against the energy of the city, the work became a powerful symbol of origin, cultivation and respect for the earth—inviting passers-by to encounter nature at an unexpected urban scale.
