Senior Florist

What do you do?

Between the calm of the workshop and the pace of event day, you shape refined florals with confidence. As Senior Florist, you move seamlessly across events, weekly contracts, and boutique features. Bringing technique, reliability, and elegance to every brief, with room to grow into senior design leadership.

    • Design & execution — Create sculptural arrangements and installations to brief; translate references into balanced color, proportion, and texture; finish impeccably under time constraints.

    • Events & contracts — Lead or co-lead zones on site (set-up/strike), uphold flower care standards, and maintain consistency for weekly hotel/corporate contracts.

    • Boutique support — Produce signature pieces for the floor, elevate presentation, and assist with client consultations when needed.

    • Mechanics & quality — Build safe, foam-conscious mechanics; protect venues and finishes; ensure stability, hydration, and transport readiness.

    • Team support — Mentor juniors on pace and finish; communicate clearly with coordinators/management; flag risks early and propose solutions.

    • Proven luxury floristry — 5+ years preferred, with strong hand-tied, vase work, and structural installs.

    • Technical finesse — Confident with armatures, wiring, chicken wire/foam-free, rigging basics, and safe ladder use.

    • Eye for composition — Advanced sense of color harmony, scale, line, and negative space; photographic awareness.

    • Operational reliability — Works to timings and checklists; protects quality and margin through correct conditioning and rotation.

    • Client & team communication — Polished, discreet, and collaborative on site and in store.

    • Languages — English required; Arabic a plus.

    • Base: Riyadh; assignments across hotels, palaces, corporate venues, and boutiques.

    • Hours: project-driven; early starts/late finishes/weekends during peaks.

    • Contract: full-time; right-to-work in KSA required (transferable Iqama preferred).

    • Physical: lifting/carrying, standing for extended periods, cold-room work; occasional work at height using safe systems.

    • Standards: uniform & grooming, HSE/site compliance, confidentiality/NDAs.

    • Progression: pathways toward Senior Designer / Design Lead, Project Floral Lead, or Head of Contracts, with training on concept development, budgeting, and client presentation.
