Floral Diplomacy: Belgium in Bloom in Japan

For the state visit of the King and Queen of Belgium to Japan, our House was entrusted with a mission of honor: to translate the spirit of Belgium into flowers. For the official reception at the Belgian Embassy in Tokyo, we designed a series of striking floral arrangements, each composition a dialogue between cultures, tradition, and artistry.

From sculptural vases brimming with peonies and roses to ethereal clouds of smokebush and delicately placed seasonal branches, the flowers became more than decoration, they embodied a gesture of welcome, refinement, and diplomacy. Every detail was carefully considered, ensuring that the natural poetry of Belgium resonated in the heart of Japan.

The result was a setting where royalty, diplomacy, and floral artistry converged. A living expression of Belgium’s heritage of creativity, craftsmanship, and cultural exchange — timeless, elegant, and unforgettable.
