CEO of Daniel Ost

Yann Callaert combines entrepreneurial drive with a deep commitment to artistry. Before joining the family House, he studied International Entrepreneurship, worked at a high-profile multi-family office, and explores ventures from football agency work to diplomatic service as Honorary Consul of Ecuador in Belgium. With inexhaustible energy —“a Duracell rabbit with endless batteries,” as friends joke — he brings the same precision to finance as he does to floristry.

Yann joined Daniel Ost as Project Manager in 2014, where he executed large-scale events for royal households, global maisons, and high-profile clients.

As Business Manager (2016–2018), he stabilized operations, built commercial strategy, and prepared the House for international growth.

In 2019, he became CEO, guiding Daniel Ost into its next era as a global luxury brand.

Under his leadership, the House has expanded its retail and event presence internationally, with boutiques in Knokke, Amman, and Riyadh. He has spearheaded partnerships with Corinthia Hotel Brussels and Mandarin Oriental Riyadh, and overseen numerous royal weddings across Europe and the Middle East.

For Yann, tradition and innovation walk hand in hand: safeguarding heritage while building modern systems in HR, operations, and marketing. He is as comfortable discussing global expansion as he is jumping into a delivery van or sourcing flowers at dawn if that is what clients need.

“My role is to make sure creativity can flow freely. If the florists dream it, I’ll find a way to make it real.”Yann Callaert

He is also active beyond floristry — advising startups, mentoring students at Karel de Grote Antwerp Community College, and serving as a licensed football agent. But at the heart of it all is one purpose: ensuring that clients, whether a bride, a maison, or a hotel, feel in good hands.
