The Table as a Landscape

Created for Japanese department store Takashimaya, this collection reimagined the dining table as a setting for botanical art.

Each composition explored a distinct relationship between flowers, structure and space—from suspended veils of grass and architectural bamboo to woven foliage, elevated floral forms and abundant meadow-like landscapes. Orchids, delicate blossoms, moss and sculpted leaves were shaped into unexpected silhouettes that transformed the familiar language of table decoration.

Balancing Japanese precision with expressive craftsmanship, the series presented dining as an immersive experience—where every table became a landscape and every arrangement an artwork in its own right.
