This extensive public-realm redesign transforms a traditional shopping street into a generous green promenade—a place created not only for movement and commerce, but also for encounter, rest and everyday city life.

A continuous rhythm of mature trees introduces shade, intimacy and seasonal character along the pedestrian route. Sculpted hedges, monumental bluestone seating and an elongated water feature bring landscape, craftsmanship and architecture into a coherent composition. The restrained palette of stone, water and greenery gives the street a distinctive yet timeless identity.

Cafés, shops and public spaces flow naturally into the landscape, while open circulation zones preserve clarity and accessibility. Over time, the maturing tree canopy has softened the architecture and created a welcoming green corridor at the heart of the city.
